Underlying principle of M2 Voice Analysis:

Human speech is a highly complex mechanism .  •Many processes must work in perfect synchronization to produce coherent speech flow.  During speech, the brain supervises and monitors this process closely. Therefore, any "event" which occurs in the brain at any time will be reflected in the vocal waveform during speech (e.g. uncertainty, excitement, guilt, etc.)
 

•In addition, any changes in perception and/or interpretation manifests in the voice -- and, significantly, human voice is beyond our control.
 

•M2 voice analysis ignores what respondents are saying and focuses only on changes in brain activity that are reflected in the voice.

In other words, what is critical is not “what” your subject is saying, but “how” he or she says it.

More specifically:

•M2 Voice Analysis detects and measures  – subtle, involuntary changes in the voice -- reflective of various types of brain activity
 

–It also detects and measures  – anomalies in brain activity and classifies them in terms of stress, excitement, deception, and varying emotional states, based upon thousands of mathematical equations to analyze microchanges in voice (real-time)
